Anna Weisner, SNJM

Sister Anna (M. Cecile Rose) loves music, which she taught for 20 years before switching to intermediate grades and eventually serving as principal in Coos Bay and Salem, OR. In Salem, she was caregiver for her mother for 16 years. Following her mother’s death, she served as a chaplain for 14 years at Sacred Heart Hospital, Spokane, WA. After retiring, she was chaplain at the Convent of the Holy Names in Spokane. As part of that ministry she returned to music, playing the harp for events. In 2011, she moved to Mary’s Woods where she continues as a musician in the residents’ recorder orchestra and works with a choir group in memory care.
