Making a Lasting Difference in the Life of a Child and Their Family
For over 180 years
the Sisters of the Holy Names
have been educating students.
At the Marylhurst Commons campus in Lake Oswego, Oregon, the renovation of the Mayer Art Building will transform the space into an early learning center. Clackamas County Children’s Commission (ClackCoKids) will operate Head Start and Early Head start services at this center, providing infant/toddler and preschool classes for qualifying families, as well as subsidized and fee-for-service childcare. The Sisters, who own the land and building recognize the need for significant improvements. Major renovations are required before the space can be ready for young learners. Once completed, ClackCoKids will lease the building and operate the programs for the students and families.
