Durocher Service Projects is a non-profit organization geared towards helping the youth in the Mississippi Delta. Durocher Service Projects was founded by Sister Kay Burton in 1982, serving the Jonestown community for over 40 years.
Durocher Service Projects provides afterschool and summer enrichment to children and youth who live below the poverty line in Jonestown, Mississippi. DSR’s mission and purpose is to ensure that young people in the community have safe, caring peer groups and mentorship to support their mental and physical health, success in school and preparedness for employment.
