After much prayer and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Call to Vietnam Benefit Dinner that was scheduled on Saturday, March 14.
The health of our benefactors is of great importance to the planning committee and to the Sisters of the Holy Names. The King County Public Health Department is recommending that, due to the COVID-19 virus, it is best to postpone bringing large groups of people together. Out of an abundance of caution, we are following their advice.
At the same time, we know that the needs in Vietnam remain great. We welcome your donations to support our work with marginalized people in Vietnam. The Sisters of the Holy Names work in collaboration with the Sisters of the Lovers of the Holy Cross in Vietnam. These Sisters provide education to poor families and services for disabled children and adults, pregnant teens, elderly people, and people called to religious life.
