Job Opening: Part-Time Receptionist / Office Assistant – Santa Cruz, CA

Villa Maria del Mar Retreat Center is currently recruiting for a weekend Receptionist/Office Assistant. Located on the edge of the Monterey Bay, the Sisters of the Holy Names retreat center provides guests with overnight accommodations and meeting places for seminars and conferences. The Receptionist answers the phone and greets incoming guests. As the first contact with the Villa, the receptionist must convey a sense of hospitality. The position is responsible for registering guests and also assists with a variety of other office duties. The work days are Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Qualifications include support of the mission of the Sisters of the Holy Names, the ability to perform multiple tasks while being hospitable and welcoming to guests. Minimum of a high school diploma; prefer some college level experience and one year of office experience; some customer service experience and/or a willingness to learn.

Job Opening: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Certified Medication Aide (CMA) – Lake Oswego, OR

Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM) are currently recruiting for a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Certified Medication Aide (CMA). Under the direction of the Oregon Clinical Care Coordinator, this position provides a variety of health related services to SNJM Sisters living at Mary’s Woods at Marylhurst, a continuing care retirement community. Services may include ADL areas, wound care, medication assistance and taking of vital signs. 

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Nursing Assistant and Medication Assistant. Minimum of two year’s experience as CNA / CMA.

Job Opening: Development Assistant – Campbell, CA

Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary (SNJM) are currently recruiting for an experienced Development Assistant. A part-time position, reporting to the California Director of Development, working collaboratively to support fundraising and donor stewardship activities for the California Regional Office in accordance with the Province’s mission, vision and values.

Qualifications include support for the mission of Sisters of the Holy Names; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience; a minimum of three to four years’ work experience in an office environment, prefer graphic design experience. Donor Perfect experience is a plus.
