BENEFITS COORDINATOR/ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / FULL-TIME – LAKE OSWEGO, OREGON
Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary are currently recruiting for a full-time Benefits Coordinator/Administrative Assistant with Medicare/ Medicaid experience. The position has the primary responsibility for ensuring that all Oregon Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary receive appropriate health insurance and public benefits, based upon the Sisters individual needs and circumstances, and according to the Health & Well-Being Office guidelines. This position meets directly with and assists Sisters in accessing benefits and is responsible for maintaining current and accurate benefits information that follows established guidelines; also provides administrative support to Clinical Care Coordinator (RN) for day-to-day care coordination needs of the Sisters.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or a combination of post-secondary education and experience; a minimum of two years’ experience coordinating Medicare, Medicaid or Social Security benefits; employment experience coordinating health insurance for persons over the age of 65; and one to two years’ experience in a healthcare environment.
OFFICE SPECIALIST / FULL-TIME – LAKE OSWEGO, OR
Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary are currently recruiting for a full-time Office Specialist for the Health and Well Being Department. This position provides technical and administrative support to the SNJM Health and Well-Being Administrator and also to the Director of Benefits, Resources and Care Consultation. The Office Specialist is responsible for assisting the department Administrator and Director with implementation of service delivery, procedures and processes.
Qualifications: Supports the mission of SNJM; Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent; 3-5 years’ experience in similar role of providing advanced level of administrative support. Medical and/or health insurance benefit experience with elder population desirable.
