March is Women's History Month. Century of Action: Oregon Women Vote, 1912-2012, a project of the Oregon Women's History Consortium (OWHC), profiled Sr. Miriam Theresa, SNJM (Caroline J. Gleason) on their website for her work in Oregon's social justice movement in the early 20thcentury. Sr. Miriam Theresa organized a survey of women's working conditions in Oregon that provided data for the passage of the nation's first minimum wage and maximum hour law in 1913. Read more at:
