Anti-trafficking efforts around Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR

In preparation for the Track and Field Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR, a group of concerned citizens sent a letter to all the motels and hotels in the area urging them to be aware of trafficking and asking them to demonstrate their committment to anti-trafficking efforts by appearing in advertisements in local newspapers. The groups supporting this effort are Called to Rescue, Oregonians Against Human Trafficking, Sisters of the Holy Names, Intercommunity Justice and Peace Center, Church Women United, and LWV. Carol Lee, SNJM, John Parrish, Associate, and Kate Parrish, Associate are members of the new committee.
