Catholic Sisters Urge Senators to Take a Stand on Human Trafficking

The U.S. Catholic Sisters Against Human Trafficking group and the Intercommunity Peace and Justice Center (IPJC) have been arranging meetings between women religious and their local senators to discuss human trafficking. They are urging the Senate to uphold its promise and support the Business Supply Chain Transparency on Trafficking and Slavery Act (S. 1968). Rosemary Everett, SNJM composed a letter on this bill to Senators Barbara Boxer and Diane Feinstein for our South Bay Mission Centre Sisters and Associates to sign and send.
