Miriam Daniel Fahey, SNJM Honored for Dedication to Santee Community
On March 26, Miriam Daniel Fahey, SNJM (South Bay) was honored at the dedication of the Catholic Charities community education center in East San José, CA. Santee neighborhood leaders, long time friends and civic dignitaries including the mayor and district superintendent were among those present. Sr. Miriam Daniel was recognized for her dedication to education, social justice and pastoral work in the Santee neighborhood throughout her 15 years of service there. Lovingly known as "Hermana Miriam," she has left a legacy of commitment and a passion for justice that continues to inspire leaders and community members today.
