Benefit Dinner for A Call to Vietnam

A Call to Vietnam benefit dinner - Copy

On March 12, several Sisters collaborated with members of Seattle's Vietnamese-American community to put on a successful benefit dinner for the A Call to Vietnam (ACtV) program, which is now in its 15th year. Working with the Vietnamese community of the Sisters, Lovers of the Holy Cross (LHC) based in Hué, Vietnam, the program raises funds for children and families struggling to survive or go to school. It provides English language learning for members of the LHC community, thus enabling LHC Sisters to be more effective in meeting the needs of the handicapped, blind and marginalized people they help.
