Sisters and Students "Walk 4 Freedom" for Human Trafficking Awareness

Los Angeles-based organization Coalition to Abolish Slavery & Trafficking (CAST) partnered with Catholic Sisters and other organizations to host "Walk 4 Freedom" on January 16 to mark National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. Their purpose was to raise awareness that human trafficking "exists in our own backyard." Sisters of the Holy Names and students from Ramona Convent Secondary School in Alhambra joined the walk as part of the SNJM commitment to opposing modern slavery in all its forms.
